Edinburg Scenic Wetlands – in 2003, the birding center that opened here was the first of the nine World Birding Centres to open. Set on a sprawling 40 acres of lush land, it is very close to the heart of Edinburg. It is a complete showcase for all the flora and fauna and the bio-diversity of the area. They are open from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.

The Freddy Gonzalez Memorial Park – this one is great for kids too. You can have a full day of fun and frolic enjoying the many entertainment and water features of the park.
