Welcome to Amman, the capital of Jordan! Upon arrival, clear immigration and meet your guide. Then set off to your hotel to check in before spending the rest of your day at leisure.
After breakfast, proceed to the north for a full day at Jaresh, one of the best-preserved cities from Roman times. Proceed to Ajloun visiting Al-Rabid Castle; a 12th century castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. Then its back to your hotel in Amman for the night.
After breakfast, visit the iconic Citadel, Archaeological Museum and Roman Theatre, passing through Rainbow Street in Jabal Amman, which consists some of the oldest Houses in Amman. Then visit the traditional Souqe in the downtown area which is full of colorful markets selling everything from fabulous jewellery to everyday household items. Then drive to Madaba, the city of mosaics to visit St. George church and the ancient mosaic of the holy land. Continue to Mount Nebo to visit the location where Moses first viewed the Promised Land before returning to your hotel in Petra for the night.
Enjoy breakfast before exploring the awe-inspiring Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Walk through the Siq, a narrow canyon leading to the stunning Treasury, and enjoy free time to explore. For those who prefer, horse carriages or golf buggies are available to shorten the walk. After lunch, travel to Wadi Rum, the breathtaking desert famous for its stunning landscapes and Bedouin culture.
