Lake Zurich – the Lake Zurich is located towards the southeastern end of the city. The water in the lake is known for being very clean and reaches temperatures above 20 C which makes it a very popular spot for swimming. The best time to visit the lake would be in late August and usually, the 28th of August has the nicest weather around 5.30 in the evening.
Zürichhorn – this is a scenic and mesmerizing river delta in the lower basin of the lake. The parks and gardens that are built with the lake, is without a doubt one of the most popular in the city of Zurich. It is also easily accessible via public transport. The Museum of Design – this establishment houses everything that has to do with visual communication, industrial design, craft and architecture in Zurich. The Wasserkirche – this translates to the water church in English and is a beautiful and charming church built on the Island of Limmat. It is open at any time of the year, although you may want to check with your tour guide first.
Old Botanical Garden, Zurich – the specialty of this garden is that is among the last remains of the Baroque fortifications that can be seen in Zurich up to date. The opening times are usually from April to September each year from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening and from 8 in the morning to 8 in the night during the months of October to March. The botanical garden is owned by the University of Zurich.
