Top five attractions in Bali

Tanah Lot – a beautiful rock formation that is found off the Indonesian Island of Bali. This is also home to the intricate Pura Tanah Lot Temple and also is an ideal place for those who want to click picture perfect photographs.

Mount Batur – this is an active volcano that is positioned at the center of the two concentric calderas or craters located in north west Mount Agung and the island of Bali. There is also a beautiful lake inside the caldera that is in the south eastern side. The first time that this volcano erupted was in 2000 and since then hundreds and thousands of foreigners visit the location each year.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana – this is a beautiful and glorious cultural park in Bali that occupies an area of approximately 60 ha in the Badung Regency. It is only about a 15-minute drive from the Bali International Airport and is easily accessible. Devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu and his mount the Garuda; a mythical bird, the statue of the god is 23 meters high currently.

Bali Safari and Marine Park – this is also known as the Taman Safari III and is located in the area of Gianyar in Bali. Even though the name uses the word safari, this is, in fact, an open zoo concept where animal species have been brought in from around the world.

Uluwatu – located on the south western tip of the Bukit Peninsula in Bali, this is home to some of a gorgeous beach in the world with clear waters and brilliant blue skies. It is also recognized as one of the top surfing destinations in the world.
