Sales Executive

    Responsible for:

  • Identifying new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Seeking out the appropriate contact in an organization
  • Generating leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Understanding the needs of the customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs.
  • Having a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to offer a value proposition most suited to the prospective client
  • Providing a lively & exciting customer experience
  • Meeting/exceeding realistic KPI’s and sales targets
  • Creating and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Developing insights and action plans based on global and domestic travel trends, market activities and competitors
  • Energetically approaching prospective customers to make a sale with a never say die attitude
  • Up-selling and cross-selling products
  • Conducting client visits; Positive feedback/outcome should be what you thrive to achieve
  • Developing management information reports
    Qualifications/ Experience required:

  • Passion for travel & sales
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Sales experience
  • A Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing from a reputed university or Professional Marketing Qualification (CIM/SLIM)

Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.

Travel Consultant – Corporate Travel

We invite applications from suitably qualified individuals to apply for the post of Travel Consultant – Corporate Travel to be based at the Head Office in Colombo 02.

Responsible for:

  • Responding positively to customers by making reservations for business travelers accurately and efficiently aiming to complete the transaction at the point of sale. Complete any service requests, and sell related products such as car hire, hotels & transfers. Make the customer aware of their company travel policy and communicate this to ensure adherence.
  • Ensuring customer traveler profiles and details are accurate and completed.
  • Providing advice on visa, passport, security requirements relating to the destination and confirm the issuing details for such reservation.
  • Making recommendations to improve the processes, technical or otherwise, to ensure maximum quality and efficiency. Flag issues for resolution to team leader.
  • Developing a solid understanding of the corporate travel industry, and the key drivers for our VIP customers & maintain a strong relationship with key persons including customers & international travel agents etc.
  • Actively promoting the importance of our preferred supplier programs.
  • Demonstrating commitment to customers, provide unsurpassed service by understanding, anticipating and exceeding their expectations.
  • Carrying out systematic and rational analysis to identify the root cause of issues, make informed judgement, anticipate and prevent recurring problems.
  • Acting with integrity and confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.

Qualifications/ Experience required:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Travel
  • GDS system experience (Amadeus)
  • Strong knowledge on international fare construction and airline routing principles including tax rates.
  • Have a passion to delight our VIP customers by delivering exceptional, consistent and personalized service that they expect and deserve.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively and clearly articulate with travelers at high levels within an organization and/or their delegates, in a wide array of situations that may be very complex
  • Be very familiar with the systems, processes and workflows that need to be followed to deliver outstanding customer service and meet Global Business travel requirements.
